I am an integrative, relational Counselling Psychologist and draw on therapeutic approaches such as, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion-focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Humanistic and Relational Psychotherapy, Systemic Therapy and Transactional Analysis.

I have a special interest in working therapeutically with young people (16+), and with women of middle age.

Experience
As a Counselling Psychologist I have worked with many clients in both the NHS and community-based services, before setting up my private practice as a Counselling Psychologist.
I also bring to my therapeutic work, over 25 years’ experience working in the helping professions – as a qualified teacher, I worked in the educational sector with children, young people and families, to facilitate positive outcomes.
I am a veteran and support the Armed Forces community.
I am also an RNIB accredited in offering Counselling for Sight Loss.
